About The Swap Club
The Swap Club is a community-driven platform that makes swapping easy, fun, and rewarding. People have so much to give and even more to gain when they swap, not shop.
We're on a mission to help people consume less, share more and feel good doing it. We host events, run a clubhouse and create a sustainable and inclusive community where everyone can participate in the joy of swapping.
Where it all started
The Swap Club started with one simple idea: what if we could trade what we already own without extra cost, and just pay for the service? In 2024, the first pop-up events in Amsterdam laid the foundation for a growing movement of people who come together to refresh their wardrobes, make new friends and try something new.
The spark came from a familiar moment: standing in front of a textile bin with a box of perfectly good clothes and asking: "Why are hundreds of millions of items thrown away every year when most are still wearable, and why is there no easy, affordable way to keep them in local circulation?". That question became The Swap Club.
Our clubhouse
Beyond our pop-up events, The Swap Club runs a permanent clubhouse in Amsterdam. A space to browse, bring and swap clothes anytime, no event or booking needed.

Wednesday & Friday, 11:00–18:00
Saturday, 11:00–19:00
How it works
Walk in anytime during opening hours, browse the rotating rack, and swap using your points. No appointment needed.
